AHNCC Response to the Coronavirus Outbreak
Dear AHNCC Applicants, Certificants, Members, Directors and Associates:
Given the current state and condition of the world during this trying time, AHNCC remains an advocate of the attitudes, philosophies and way of being that holistic nurses are known for. We will continue to demonstrate and use holistic principles and modalities in our daily lives and promote healing and self-awareness for self, our loved ones, and community. We appreciate your continued patience during this time. Please read on for several updates.

To assist with test preparation, our online practice tests are available for $65 at https://www.cnetnurse.com/holistic-nursing. Practice tests allow candidates to experience taking a computerized exam, as well as review the type of content included in our Certification Examinations, and learn more about question format, style, and level of difficulty.
New applications are now available as of 5/4/2020. Please visit our new test management website at https://www.cnetnurse.com/holistic-nursing for updates.
Limited Testing Has Resumed
In response to recent guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to help stop the spread of COVID-19, AHNCC and our test management company (C-NET) are complying with local and CDC recommendations throughout the United States and its territories. Limited testing has resumed. Those who have already qualified (Step 1) to take the exam will be notified by C-NET when testing is available.
As conferences and classes are being cancelled, certificants are encouraged to use online CE opportunities. Please remember to check professional activities that can be used to meet continuing competency hours requirements. See Alternative Options in the middle of https://www.ahncc.org/resources/professional-development-activities/.
As new information becomes available, it will be posted here. Please check this page periodically for updates.
Our thoughts remain with you and your families and all those affected by this global pandemic. We thank you for everything you do to further holistic nursing and health and hope that we can continue to show love and kindness to each other during these uncertain times. Take care and stay well. We look forward to assisting you and opening testing sites again soon.
