As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, the American Nurses Association (ANA) reaffirms its commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging (DEIAB) by recognizing and honoring the invaluable contributions of Latino and Hispanic nurses to our health care system. This month, we not only honor their rich heritage, but also highlight the importance of their stories through initiatives like the SHIFT film, Latinas in Nursing Book Club, and the ongoing work of the National Commission to Address Racism in Nursing. These efforts spotlight the essential roles of these—and all—nurses in healing our communities and advancing the profession.
