    July 4, 2026

    Wednesday, Mar 4th, 3:30 – 5:30 ET

Open Studio with Mary Rockwood Lane

Reclaiming your right to joy, play, and expression.

The Nursing Way is excited to launch a new monthly Open Studio for Nurse Artists—and for any nurse curious about exploring creativity, no experience required! Guided by the inspiring nurse artist Mary Rockwood Lane, these gatherings are a chance to play, create, and connect through art. From oils and watercolors to pastels, finger painting, and even food art, each session offers freedom to experiment and joy in creating together.

Creative expression isn’t just play—it’s healing. Whether through painting, drawing, or simply doodling, art gives you a way to process emotions, rediscover joy, and connect with each other. Exploring your inner artist can restore your spirit, deepen empathy, and bring lightness back into your life.

This is a space for you to unwind, recharge, and discover the healing power of art in community. Whether you’ve never picked up a brush or you’re a seasoned artist, you’ll find encouragement, laughter, and connection here.

Learn more about Mary and discover the Nurses Guild, our online gallery.

    1st Wednesday of each month.

Poetry of Healing with Paulina Van: A Stillpoint for Nurses to Speak, Feel, and Heal

This monthly gathering offers a sacred space where the inner life of Nurses is held with reverence—and voice is given to the heart’s truths. Rooted in Caring Science and inspired by the poetry of practice, we feature Nurse poets—and those who write in honor of Nursing—who courageously express what it means to care, to grieve, to witness, and to heal. In each episode, we pause… creating a still point in time… where words become a balm, and connection becomes a sacred act of human-to-human presence. Here, love, caring, and compassion are not only spoken but deeply felt. Whether you’re a Nurse, a poet, or someone simply in need of gentle reflection, you are welcome here.

    4th Sunday of each month.
