Nurse Coach Supervisors/Programs
One of the requirements for AHNCC certification as Nurse Coach is “60 hours coaching experience that has been mentored and/or supervised by a Certified Nurse Coach Supervisor AND Validation letter from a Certified Nurse Coach.” See: www.ahncc.org/certification/holistic-nurse-coach/.

AHNCC provides a list of certified Nurse Coaches who are willing to mentor or supervise.
AHNCC Certified Nurse Coaches who are willing to mentor or supervise independent of a program, can be added to the list for free by contacting us at connections@ahncc.org. Specific questions about Supervision and Supervision requirements should be directed to info@ahncc.org.

AHNCC appreciates those who are willing to supervise others as a service to help promote the role of Nurse Coaching.
The names of persons who have agreed to be listed as willing to act as a Nurse Coach Supervisor is offered only as a public service to the AHNCC web community. AHNCC has not specifically vetted any of the persons listed, and has no responsibility for the relationship. It is the responsibility of the Nurse Coach Supervisor and Supervisee to contract themselves on mutually agreeable terms.
Nurse Coaching Programs
The following programs can provide the 60 CE and 60-hour supervision requirements for applying. All other requirements must still be met.
Advancing Nurse Coaching – Access your full potential by becoming a Board-certified Nurse Coach and/or Holistic Nurse with our signature 4-course certificate program, Healing The Whole Person.
The CIINDE (pronounced The KIND) – The Canadian Institute of Integrative Nursing Development & Education Ltd.
Integrative Nurse Coach Academy: Successful completion of the Integrative Nurse Coach® Certificate Program provides nurses with the contact hours & supervision hours required for Nurse Coach Board Certification and Holistic Nurse Board Certification
National Institute of Whole Health (in cooperation with another organization for supervision)Tuition covers 400 hours of Whole Health training, which includes nurse coach training. Tuition also includes 60 hours supervision and exam prep from Dr. Bark.
National Society of Health Coaches offers a Nurse Coach program that includes the required 60 CNE hours, as well as the 60 supervised hours, needed to prepare and apply for the national AHNCC Nurse Coach Board Certification examination. To learn more, please click here.
