New Directions for Nurses is thrilled to announce a significant milestone achieved on August 25, 2023. The American Holistic Nurses Association, a continuing education (CE) approver accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), has given its prestigious approval to the Liberated Nurse Business Incubator program as a Continuing Professional Development activity for nurses.
Since its inception in 2021, the Liberated Nurse Business Incubator has been approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, accepted for nursing license renewal in all 50 states, and accepted by the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation for Holistic Nurse and Nurse Coach certification and recertification.
The new approval by the American Holistic Nurses Association represents an even higher standard of continuing education and adds benefits to nurses employed at ANCC-recognized Magnet® hospitals. The ANCC Magnet® program is recognized as the gold standard of nursing excellence.
The Liberated Nurse Business Incubator is a comprehensive 12-month online program tailored for entrepreneurial nurses. It empowers them with the knowledge and skills to create, market, and deliver their unique products, programs, or services. This evidence-informed holistic business development system has been meticulously designed by nurses, for nurses.
In addition to the extensive home study learning content, the Liberated Nurse Business Incubator program includes personalized individual and group business coaching. This valuable support enables nurses to:
1. Establish their businesses securely within the boundaries of their nursing licenses.
2. Identify holistic health problems they can help people solve effectively.
3. Validate their solution’s value through pilot testing.
4. Consistently market and sell their products, programs, or services.
5. Engage with a supportive community of nurse peers and mentors.
6. Create a sustainable business plan to guide them toward a prosperous future.
