AHNCC and AHNA are two separate organizations. AHNCC is the credentialing corporation for Holistic Nursing and Nurse Coaching. AHNA is the national membership and education organization for Holistic Nursing.
The American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) is a non-profit national membership association for Holistic Nurses and other holistic healthcare professionals. AHNA serves more than 4,600 members across the U.S., is the definitive voice for holistic nursing, and promotes the education of nurses, other healthcare professionals, and the public in all aspects of holistic caring and healing.
Membership in the American Holistic Nurses Association is obtained through the AHNA http://www.ahna.org/ which is a separate entity from AHNCC.
Membership in AHNA is not required to apply for, or maintain, AHNCC certification.
