AMERICAN HOLISTIC NURSES' CERTIFICATION CORPORATION
RECERTIFICATION GENERAL INFORMATION
Certification is valid for a period of five (5) years from the date appearing on the certificate. Recertification is due on the fifth year, the last day of the month appearing on the certificate. AHNCC will notify Certificants approximately six (6) months prior to their expiration date. Recertification documents are due two (2) months or 60 days before the Certification Expiration Date to ensure time for processing. Certification is no longer active after the date stated on the certificate if the recertification process has not been completed. Inactive certificants can not use certification credentials.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
AHNCC frequently encounters difficulty communicating with Certificants due to changes in home addresses, telephones, employment sites, and/or email addresses. Certificants are responsible for notifying AHNCC of any change in name, address, email or telephone number. AHNCC and AHNA are independent organizations; you must notify both to maintain current profiles. Thank you for your assistance with this important matter.

Alternative options for Continuing Education Units can be found below.
The contact hours must be approved by a licensing board, credentialing body, educational institution or other qualified individual or organization. Appropriate documentation of continued education (such as certificates of completion) must be submitted with application for Recertification.
