Anyone can take it as many times as you wish. It is designed to test your knowledge base, affirm what you know, discover what you need to study. Score results are provided immediately. It will also help you learn how to take examinations online. The fee is $65, payable by credit card.

AHNCC has 1049 Active Certified Holistic Nurses: 342 HN-BC, 381 HNB-BC, and 326 AHN-BC. There are another 164 in process, waiting to move on to the next step in the Certification Process.

UPDATE ON THE NURSE COACH CERTIFICATION Consistent with health care trends, AHNCC explored the need for a Certification Program in the Role of Professional Nurse Coach. We concluded that:
•The Role of Nurse Coach is important for Nursing, and
•A Nurse Coach Certification based in the precepts of Holistic Nursing was the responsibility of AHNCC.
Therefore, AHNCC plans to offer a Nurse Coach Certification Program. More detailed information can be found by here click here.
AHNCC'S created an alliance with the Professional Nurse Coach Workgroup (PCNW), Co-Chaired by BARBARA DOSSEY and DARLENE HESS. The PCNW has drafted a document that defines the Scope and Competencies for the Professional Nurse Coach. More information will be available about purchase of this document soon. AHNCC continues to seek experienced Nurse Coaches who are interested in assisting us in the development of the competencies essential to the Role of Professional Nurse Coach.

If you wish to pay for the application to qualify or recertification fees, please identify the service, confirm the fee, and then click on the Paypal button to the right. Connections with Paypal are secure; your information will not be sent to AHNCC, and you do not need a Paypal account to use this service. Paypal provides easy direction on the use of their site. If you want to pay to register for the test, you will find payment information on the Certification Examination application form.
If you use paypal, be sure to print a copy of your receipt to send to with your completed forms. Forms can be downloaded from our Document Library.
